Summer Reading Challenge: Into the Woods

June 8 – September 4

Get outside, explore new things, and connect with friends, nature, and community with the Teen Summer Reading Challenge. This year's theme is "Into the Woods."

Discover new adventures in reading with our reading challenges. Get creative with our non-reading challenges. Take advantage of the nature of the North Shore, or wherever your travels take you!

Complete as many challenges as you can and win prizes as you go. Pick up a pamphlet at your local NVDPL to get started.

Teen Writing Contest: Metamorphosis

Submission deadline: September 7

Share your story with the Teen Writing Contest! Submit your original short story on the theme "metamorphosis." Finalists will receive a gift card and have their stories professionally bound and added to the permanent collection at North Vancouver Distict Public Library and North Vancouver City Library.

This contest is open to writers going into grades 7-12. Submit your story by September 7.
