Summer Reading Rave
Disconnect from the hustle of adulting and revisit the nostalgia of summer reading at the library with our first-ever Summer Reading Rave!
Join us this July & August at different reading rave events across the North Shore. Bring a book/e-book/audiobook or borrow one from the library, enjoy snacks and mocktails, and gather together for the quietest rave you'll ever attend. No reading record required, just show up and read with us.
Collect exclusive Summer Reading Rave buttons and other merch by attending events. Each event you attend is an opportunity to win an event prize draw, as well as another chance to win the grand prize at the end of the summer—a pair of noise-cancelling headphones!
Bird Watching Kits
Explore the great outdoors with new Bird Watching Kits from NVDPL! With binoculars, guidebooks, and plenty of space for water and snacks, these backpacks are the perfect way to start enjoying the wonders of bird watching.
