Books by the winners of the 2025 Teen Writing Contest are now available on shelves at NVDPL! Stop by the teen area at your local library to read these compelling stories based on the theme "the butterfly effect."
The 2025 contest was open to students in grades 7–12 with original stories of up to 5,000 words. Winners were determined by a committee of library staff, teen leaders, and local authors. In addition to having their work professionally bound and added the libraries’ collections, winners were invited to a gala event at Lynn Valley Library.
