James Mitchell

James Mitchell was appointed to the Board in 2019 and elected Vice Chair in 2023. James currently works as a Senior Consultant at Santis Health. Previously he has worked with a number of organizations including Seaspan Shipyards, the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Group Counselling and Trauma, and Capilano University.

James has organized for and advised senior politicians at all levels of government, including most recently serving as British Columbia advisor to the Honourable Erin O’Toole. His interest in politics stems from a firm commitment to improving life in his community.

James has been a North Shore resident for more than 30 years and is a committed community volunteer currently participating in a number of volunteer organizations.

James is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in History.
