Tyler Elkington was appointed to the Library Board in 2026.

His work experience spans over a decade in operations and strategy roles at high-growth software startups in the data analytics, cybersecurity, and public relations industries. Prior to his experience in the tech sector, Tyler worked in investment banking, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory.

Tyler grew up in North Vancouver and currently resides there with his family. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, running, reading, and visiting the Library with his young daughter. These visits have deepened Tyler’s appreciation for the North Vancouver District Public Library system and inspired his commitment to giving back to the community.
