How You Can Become A Donor
You can give to the Library in several different ways, including giving a gift, giving to our endowment fund, or leaving a gift in your will.
Giving a Gift
Your gift to the Library makes a tremendous positive difference in your community.
By giving to the Library you are helping newcomers get settled in a new environment, babies develop early literacy skills, small businesses grow and develop in the community, seniors connect with others and learn new skills, teens find a safe place to socialize and learn, and so much more.
The money you donate is used to provide enhancements to the library. Our current areas of urgent need for donations are for improved and expanded collections, enhanced programs and services and revitalized library spaces.

Give to Our Endowment Fund
Supporting our endowment fund creates a steady and dependable source of income for your Library.
The Library spends only the interest earned on the capital, while the base amount of your donation remains intact. Your gift will never stop giving!

Leave a Gift in Your Will
Leaving a charitable gift in your will is an easy and powerful way to support library programs and services you believe in.
Your estate will receive a tax receipt for the value of the gift. Bequests can be made by naming North Vancouver District Public Library as a beneficiary in your will.
For advice on leaving an appropriate legacy, speak to a professional advisor, such as your attorney, estate planner or accountant. If you want to speak with us about your gift please contact Heather Scoular at 604-990-5800 or scoularh@nvdpl.ca.
