ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT AND COLLECTIONS
A large screen computer is available at each Branch Library for searching the library catalogue and the Internet. The text size of the other public computers with smaller screens can be enlarged to a lesser extent.
The Home Library Service and Talking Books Department loans out cassette players and DAISY readers to those with print disabilities free of charge so that they can enjoy our collection of Talking Books.
Our Talking Books Collection is maintained for the use of print-disabled patrons only. For more information on the collection and eligibility, please refer to Talking Books.
Large Print books, including popular reading, classics and non-fiction, can be found at all of NVDPL’s library branches. Any library patron may check out large print titles. If we do not have a book in large print in our library system, we will try to locate a copy for you through interlibrary loan.
