Treasure Box Puppet Theatre presents: Cheetwood the Bear

Please note this event takes place at the Heritage Centre, located at 1620 Mt Seymour Rd. Meet at the Parkgate Library at 12:45 for a short walk to the Heritage Centre – we’ll look for signs of Cheetwood the Bear along the way.
The “Adventures of Cheetwood the Bear" set in the past on Mount Seymour, is an interactive puppet show that helps children learn the natural diet and behaviour of  bears and the importance of preventing them from entering our community.    Willie the Wolf warns Cheetwood to stay away from humans, but despite the good teachings of mother bear how to find natural food in the forest, the smell of a human's huckleberry pie is irresistible!  Pat the Park Ranger finds a clue that a bear's been nearby.
Suitable for children age 2-8 years. Show will be followed by a short nature walk outdoors to look for signs that a bear is nearby
Please call 604-929-3727, ext. 8166 to register.
