Based on Welsh mythology, The Prydain Chronicles follow the adventures of Taran, an assistant pig-keeper who dreams of becoming a hero, but fate seems to have other plans. This series begins with The Book of three and is followed in order by The Black Cauldron, The Castle of Llyr, Taran Wanderer and The High King.
