Mobile Access to NVDPL’s Catalogue
Search North Vancouver District Public Library’s catalogue using your smart phone, tablet or other mobile device.
The Library Anywhere app is available in three formats: there is an iPhone version (which also works for the iPad and the iPod Touch), an Android version, and a universal mobile web version (which can be used with any Internet-connected device, including Blackberry).
You can use the app or mobile site to search for library material, place holds, check due dates and get directions to branches.

Now Your Smart Phone Can Be Your Library Card
Never forget to bring your card to the Library again! Use your iPhone, iPod Touch, Android,Blackberry, or Windows Phone as your library card at our Capilano or Parkgate branches (and with the low self check-out at Lynn Valley Main Library).
The CardStar app allows you to store and quickly retrieve your NVDPL library card on your smart phone where it can be scanned directly from your phone’s screen.
1. Install the CardStar (from mycardstar.com ) app on your smart phone.
2. Open CardStar and select [+] to add a new barcode.
3. Select "Add plastic card"
3. Select "(Other)"
5. Type or scan your barcode number in the “Card Number” box
6. In the Card Title box, type NVDPL
8. Select “Save” in the upper right corner.
