About The Kindness Project
The Kindness Project is an installation of art blocks created in the theme of kindness by the students of Upper Lynn Elementary. Each person was given an opportunity to represent kindness through art on a small wooden block. The blocks were decorated in the theme of birds as they are a symbol of peace, their singing shares kindness and the image of a mother bird feeding her young fosters thoughts of kindness.
The students know that one person doing an act of kindness is contagious and that when you are kind to someone, you feel good and they feel good. Even people who witnesses that kind act also feel good and when we feel good we are more likely to be kind to others. One act at a time, kindness has begun to spread throughout the school.
Kindness is contagious!
