Lynn Valley Main Library Spring Book Club
Join us for the third session of Lynn Valley Main Library's three-session spring book club. On June 7, the group will be discussing David Mitchell's novel, The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet.

Join local geologist David Cook at Parkgate Branch Library for an illustrated account of the geological and natural history of the Nullarbor.
Come hear the story of ancient subterranean rivers that left vast caverns with crystal clear lakes beneath the now treeless plain. Learn about giant marsupials that roamed the plains, and how the arrival of humans 40,000 years ago contributed to changes leading to the demise of the mega fauna. Hear about Cook’s early 1960’s expedition to the caves of the Nullarbor, and learn about the first ever attempt to scuba dive in the lakes.
