After three fantastic Capilano Universe presentations, you won't want to miss the fourth and final lecture in this series, taking place 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm on Tuesday, April 12 at Lynn Valley Main Library, featuring Capilano University's Dr. Stanley Greenspoon. Dr. Greenspoon will talk about the search for extrasolar planets and extraterrestrial life.

The Healing Circle includes true stories and teachings about healing after a cancer diagnosis from the Dr. Rutledge’s 'Skills for Healing’ weekend retreats, which are held in over a dozen cities internationally. The book’s intimate examination of the cancer journey provides a practical and fresh perspective on how to heal at the levels of body, mind, and spirit.

Hear about the efforts being made to rescue child soldiers in East Africa at an engaging talk and short film presentation held at Capilano Branch Library.

Brooklyn Kemp, a student in Capilano University’s Global Stewardship program, will speak at this event and will present the film Roseline, which tells the story of an orphaned Ugandan girl living with HIV/AIDS. Roseline’s story of hope and joy in the midst of war will warm your heart.

Kemp is a member of the non-profit organization, Invisible Children. Invisible Children is a non-profit organization devoted to ending conflict in Uganda and stopping the abduction of children for use as child soldiers.
