Community Un-Conference

The North Vancouver District Library and North Shore School District #44 are holding a Community ‘Un-conference’ on Saturday October 24 at Lynn Valley Library. The theme for this un-conference is ‘connection, acceptance, and community’. To prepare for this Un-Conference, we're hosting some intro sessions- the first one is July 23 from 2:30pm - 3:30pm at Parkgate Library.

Summer Reading Club

The Summer Reading Club is BACK and better than ever! We’re gearing up for Build It! at the Library and we want YOU to be a part of all the fun this summer.
Sign up to complete 50 days of reading this summer to receive your Build It! Booklet. Use it as a reading record and fill in each day you read for 15 minutes or more.
You’ll be rewarded along the way with fun prizes and stickers, and once you’ve completed your Build It! Booklet you’ll receive a finishing prize: a brand new paperback book —or— a Reading Achievement Medal!

Fandoms Unite: Teen Summer Reading Club

Fandoms Unite is this year's theme for the Teen Reading Club!
The Teen Summer Reading Club gets you in to a book AND gets you online. The digitally run program encourages youth to participate by reading, posting reviews, join in on online discussions, enter draws and contests, and more!
From horror books and zombie thrillers, to mangas and graphic novels—fandoms can unite this summer by taking part in the TRC.
